Meet Travis...
Travis will be our embassador to many events we attend. He is a Light Gray,
Flemish Giant Junior Buck. The Flemish are also known as "the gentle giants", the largest breed of rabbit recognized by the American Rabbit Breeders Association.
Travis will grow to a weight of atleast 15 pounds over the next 6 - 8 months as he matures into adulthood or senior. We will have more to share about Travis as he settles into his new home. We are building the enclosure and condo-elite for this big-bun to reside in here at the hutch ! Travis will undergo leash training so he can safely accompany us on many outings to area Day Care Centers and rabbit events.
4H is a BIG part of our purpose !
The Corner Hutch currently sponsors a local 4H rabbit club, Just 4 Bunz, in the Hartford County area. Meeting in Windsor, our club offers local children and their families the opportunity to learn about and work with bunnies in a fun and educational environment. Our goal is to prepare ourselves and our rabbits for a showmanship exhibition held at the Hartford County 4H Fair each year. A wonderful time is had by all while meeting new friends and becoming part of an organization that believes in the power of youth ! As a 4H Leader and ARBA member, I encourage anyone interested in sharing their hobby or craft to contact your local 4H office.
